Two Belleville residents have been arrested following a drug trafficking investigation in the city.
Members of Project Renewal, along with the Belleville Police Emergency Response Team and K9 Unit executed a search warrant at a Marsh Drive home on Wednesday.
Officers located 31.6 grams of green Fentanyl, 7.6 grams of red Fentanyl, 17.5 grams of cocaine and $435 in cash.
As a result of the investigation, three people were arrested and charged.
James Ellis, 35, of Belleville, Nicole Palmer, 35, of Belleville and Othniel Watts, 37, of Pickering are facing charges of drug trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime. Ellis and Palmer have a court date of May 9. Watts appeared in court today (Thursday).
