Two men have been arrested and charged as part of Project Renewal.
Belleville Police, along with members of Project Renewal, made a traffic stop on College Street on Tuesday.
During their search of the vehicle, officers located 42.5 grams of cocaine and $800.
Tariq Ahmed, 22, of Toronto and Isiah Jatau, 22, of Ottawa are both charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Jatau is facing an additional charge of failure to comply with a release order.
Jatau was held for a show cause hearing and Ahmed will appear in court on May 9.
