Traffic was snarled late this morning in the west end of Trenton.
There was a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas West and Dufferin Avenue at around 10:30.
One person had to be extricated from a vehicle by the Quinte West Fire Department.
Hastings-Quinte paramedics and OPP attended. Two people were injured.
Old Hwy. 2 in Bayside was also shut down for a period of time.
Quinte West firefighters were called to Old Hwy. 2 and Whites Road around 12:30 p.m. for a two vehicle collision.
The highway was reopened in both directions by 1:30 p.m.
