Belleville police responded to 64 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on March 29, 2022 to 5 a.m. on March30, 2022.
Breach of Undertaking & Harassment
On March 29, 2022 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Belleville police observed a 31-year-old Trenton male in the Sidney Street and Cascade Boulevard area. He was arrested on reasonable grounds for two counts of fail to comply with an undertaking and one count of criminal harassment. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service and is being held for a show cause hearing on the March 30, 2022.
Arrest on Warrants
On March 29, 2022 at 9:20 p.m., Belleville police observed a female in the area of Moodie Street who was wanted on a warrant with the Ontario Provincial Police. The 41-year-old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant and arrangements were made to haveher transferred into the custody of the Ontario Provincial Police.
