Belleville will be hosting a big conference this fall.
Fire Service Women Ontario will be holding its annual Fire Symposium for female fire department personnel October 20 – 23.
Belleville Fire Chief Monique Belair says between 150 and 200 people will be attending.
The symposium will provide training and education on all facets of the fire service using facilities in Belleville and Quinte West and the participants will also be touring the area.
The symposium began in 2010 and for the last two years has been a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
