Belleville Police responded to 67 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5 a.m. on March 24, 2022 to 5 a.m. March 25, 2022.
Breach of Probation
Police responded to a west end address on Thursday, March 24 around 10:20 a.m. for a domestic dispute. Officers were advised the man in the residence was causing a disturbance and he was on conditions from a previous domestic-related charge to not communicate with the female caller. Police arrested the 39-year-old Belleville man who was then charged with two counts of breach of probation and held for a bail hearing the same day.
Stolen Bikes
Belleville police are investigating the theft of two bikes from an east end residence. The complainant advised that sometime overnight suspects entered the shed and stole the bikes. The first bike is described as a GIANT XT white mountain bike with front suspension and black lettering. The second bike is also a mountain bike, grey in colour with black lettering.
