We have a little good news to share this morning.
Belleville lawyer Pieter Kort who, along with five members of his family, was involved in a tragic collision in Florida last Saturday, has been released from hospital.
Kort is remaining at the hospital though as his wife Jamie and a daughter and son continue to receive treatment for serious injuries.
The Kort family was in a van outside Jacksonville Florida when it was hit from behind by a cement truck, killing two young girls.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues an investigation.
Meanwhile, as of 4 o’clock Thursday, morning almost $420,000 had been raised for the family on GoFundMe.
