One of the candidates to lead the Conservative Party of Canada says he intends to make Canada the most free country in the world.
Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre talked to local media and party members at the Belleville Club St. Patrick’s Day and says it’s time get people back in control of their own lives, blaming the Liberals for making everyday Canadians’ pay cheques almost worthless.
“Trudeau’s inflationary deficits and taxes have brought inflation to 30 year highs, housing inflation has smashed records.”
“Money printing deficits and high taxes are pricing our working class out of a home and out of gas and groceries. I call it Justinflation.”
Poilievre says he’s the only candidate for leadership who’ll eliminate the federal carbon tax which comes into effect April 1.
Poilievre has been an MP since 2004.
