A corporate challenge is expected to give the It Takes Heart Capital Campaign for Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward a major boost.
Belleville’s West City Honda has pledged to match corporate donations made in the next several months up to a total of $100,000.
Greg Sudds is the president and general manager at West City Honda and also chair of the It Takes Heart Campaign which is raising funds for the Humane Society’s new building currently under construction on Wallbridge Loyalist Road.
Sudds says, “We are all animal lovers here and we consider it an honour to support the building of what will be an important community asset.”
The campaign committee will be reaching out to local business owners over the next several weeks.
