Two Belleville men are facing child luring charges.
After a lengthy investigation that began last October, city police searched two residences on Wednesday.
As a result of the searches 61-year-old Joseph Workman was charged with corrupting children and breaching probation.
And 34-year-old Tyson Simmons was charged with child luring by way of telecommunication.
According to Belleville Chief of Police Mike Callaghan it is believed the suspects were texting each other with each believing the other person was a 14-year-old boy.
Both are known sex offenders.
An investigation continues.
