Two Wellington Dukes alumni have signed entry level contracts with NHL clubs.
Belleville native Zach Uens has signed a deal with the Florida Panthers and will start his professional career with the team’s AHL affiliate the Charlotte Checkers.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Declan Carlile who will join the Syracuse Crunch.
Both are defencemen who play at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.
