Local healthcare organizations are being recognized for their work and dedication throughout the pandemic.
On Monday, Hastings County Warden Rick Phillips, along with Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison, Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk and Prince Edward County Mayor Steve Ferguson presented Chief Doug Socha with a plaque of recognition to Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services for their tireless work over the past two years.
The presentation was made at the main Millennium Base, but they will be visiting all of the paramedic bases across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties over the coming weeks to present plaques of gratitude.
Warden Phillips along with mayors Harrison and Panciuk also awarded a plaque of appreciation to the Hastings Manor team for their dedication, compassion and care given to the residents during the last 24 months.
