Five young men were killed in a tractor trailer/minivan collision on Highway 401 between Aikins and St. Hilaire roads early Saturday morning.
OPP say two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The collision occurred in snowy and windy conditions at around 3:45 on the 401 westbound.
Quinte West firefighters, OPP, and five Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services ambulances responded.
The people involved were not from this area.
Highway 401 westbound was closed between Belleville and Trenton for about 10 hours.
