The Ontario government will boost funding to the First Nations Technical Institute on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory for the training of more Personal Support Workers (PSWs).
Hastings-Lennox and Addington MPP Daryl Kramp announced the investment Thursday.
The money will support the education of about 26 PSWs over a four-year period.
The local funding is part of an overall government investment of $34 million over four years at six Indigenous schools in the province.
