Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in Hastings Prince Edward dropped over the weekend.
The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health dashboard shows 17 people being treated in hospital as of Monday, down from 23 on Friday.
However, three people are currently in ICU, an increase of one.
There were 64 new high-risk cases reported Monday.
Active cases dropped to 162 from Friday’s 183.
Eight outbreaks remain active in high-risk settings, including one at Belleville General Hospital.
Eighty-three percent of HPE residents aged five and up have received two doses of a vaccine while almost 88,000 people have received a booster dose.
