The number of active infections of COVID-19 in Hastings-Prince Edward’s high-risk population is down considerably from Friday.
Monday Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported 237 active cases ongoing in the two counties, down from 342 Friday.
There were 68 new cases reported Monday.
Meanwhile the number of people being treated in hospital is up to 25 from 19 Friday.
However the number of people in intensive care remains at two.
The number of outbreaks in high-risk settings remained the same as well, at 12.
In Northumberland on Monday, the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported 18 new high-risk cases and 42 active.
