The number of new high-risk cases of COVID-19 has dropped but the number of outbreaks has gone up.
The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit is reporting 100 new high-risk cases today. This is down from 167 reported on Wednesday.
The number of current active cases has dropped by 17 to 342.
On Wednesday, there were only eight outbreaks reported and the Health Unit is reporting 12 outbreaks in high-risk settings today.
There is also one new death being reported.
There remain two people in the Intensive Care Unit and there are currently 19 people in hospital.
Eight-nine percent of residents aged five and up have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 82% are fully vaccinated.
