Bancroft OPP have charged one person from Bancroft following an animal complaint report.
Last month officers responded to the complaint on Haryett Road in Carlow-Mayo Township and found one deceased dog and two other dogs in poor health.
The two dogs were transported to a veterinarian for further treatment.
As a result of investigation, Shelby Martin, 18, of Carlow – Mayo Township has been charged with the criminal offence of cruelty to animals (unnecessary pain, suffering or injury).
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to in Bancroft court on March 8.
