Belleville Public Library and the Parrot Art Gallery are gearing up to return to a full operation.
After two years of COVID-19 restrictions both operations are returning to full operations beginning March 1.
“During the pandemic for a while there it was only books and movies so we’re really glad to be getting backto our full purpose which is to have programs and events and communities coming together and people meeting in the library and just enjoying the space in the library and the gallery.”
Computer use has been returned to two hours per day maximum, and study tables are no longer under a time limit or booking system. Lounge furniture and increased numbers of public computers are being moved back on to the public floor for your enjoyment. Sanitation routines will be reduced to normal levels.
Starting on March 1, indoor programs and events will return to the Library and Gallery, including children’s story times, art workshops, and March Break programming. All programs require advance registration. See bellevillelibrary.ca and our social media accounts for more information on all of the great programs being planned over the next few months.
Room rentals are now available again, see https://bellevillelibrary.ca/rentals-c4404
There are no longer any proof-of-vaccine requirements for indoor programs or room rentals. All patrons three years of age or older must wear a mask or face shield at all times while in the building. We ask for everyone to respect the mask rule as our staff work indoors all day.
