Cold weather conditions have prompted Quinte West to activate its overnight warming centre.
Officials have announced the centre at Trenton United Church at 85 Dundas Street East in Trenton, will be open Wednesday night and right through Friday night.
The hours are 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Visitors must register upon entry and will be screened using the latest COVID-19 screening tool.
Face masks and physical distancing are required at all times.

Due to forecast weather conditions, the City of Quinte West will activate its overnight warming centre tonight through Friday night at Trenton United Church, located at 85 Dundas St. E, Trenton. Visitors must register upon entry and will be screened using the latest COVID-19 screening tool. Face masks and physical distancing are required at all times.
When: Wednesday, Feb. 23 to Friday, Feb. 25 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Where: Trenton United Church, 85 Dundas St. E; entry through the lower south entrance of the building, off the parking lot
The warming centre is activated when the temperature is expected to reach -10 C. Please note that this is a warming centre for individuals to seek relief from the cold. Beds and meals are not provided.
