It was another successful year for the Feed the Meter campaign benefitting the Food for Learning program.
The 13th annual campaign raised $38,360.57 for Food for Learning’s school breakfast, snack, and lunch programs in area schools.
Proceeds came from all funds collected in downtown parking meters during the month of December in Belleville, Trenton and Picton.
Food for Learning provides healthy meals and snacks to more than 4000 students across Hastings and Prince Edward counties each school day.
