Breach of Undertaking
On February 14, 2022 at 9:21 a.m., Belleville police attended an address on Dundas Street West in response to a breach of an undertaking. The victim of a prior domestic complaint called in to advise that the suspect was in contact with her despite a non-communication condition. As a result, a 34-year old male Belleville resident was arrested and charged with one count of breach of an undertaking. He was released on another undertaking with a court date of April 21, 2022. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
Domestic Assault
On February 14, 2022 at 3:07 p.m., Belleville police attended an address on Grier Street in regards to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival police received information from the victim that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. She received a small cut on her head that did not require medical treatment. A 23-year-old Belleville male was arrested and charged with one count of domestic assault and released on an undertaking with a court date of April 21, 2022. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
