Quinte West OPP are investigating a string of break and enters and thefts in Trenton.
Thursday just after midnight, OPP responded to a break-in in progress on Byron Avenue but suspects had left the scene. A search involving an emergency response team and K9 unit came up empty.
Then at 7 o’clock in the morning there was a garage break-in on Connolly Avenue followed by vehicle break-ins on Loraine Avenue and McQuade Drive.
A stolen credit card was used at several businesses in Trenton.
The investigations are all ongoing.

Reporting these occurrences greatly assists police with identifying crime trends and with allocating police resources in the community.
