Quinte West OPP are investigating a string of break and enters and thefts in Trenton.
Thursday just after midnight, OPP responded to a break-in in progress on Byron Avenue but suspects had left the scene. A search involving an emergency response team and K9 unit came up empty.
Then at 7 o’clock in the morning there was a garage break-in on Connolly Avenue followed by vehicle break-ins on Loraine Avenue and McQuade Drive.
A stolen credit card was used at several businesses in Trenton.
The investigations are all ongoing.
