More apartments are being proposed for the village of Stirling.
Stirling-Rawdon council’s Planning Advisory Committee saw a rezoning application for almost four acres of land bordered by North, Church, and Station streets that would allow six six-plex apartment buildings to be built.
The committee made no decision on the plan and will wait for an Official Plan amendment to be approved first.
Meanwhile a new storage unit business is close to becoming a reality in the village of Stirling.
Earlier this week Stirling-Rawdon’s Planning Advisory Committee recommended approval of a site plan agreement that would allow the construction of 240 mini-storage units at 440 West Front Street.
Before a final site plan can be approved the developer would have to provide a certified drainage plan for the property.
