On February 7, 2022 shortly after 5:00 a.m., officers from the Bancroft OPP, assisted by the Hastings Highlands Fire Department, responded to the report of a house fire on Buckhill Road in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. The house and garage were fully engulfed in flames when emergency responders arrived on scene.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office, Bancroft OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Unit are continuing the arson investigation.
Any person(s) with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this arson should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
