Michael Del Zotto scored a goal and two assists and Filip Gustavsson stopped 21 shots for his third AHL shutout as the Belleville Senators blanked the Phantoms 5-0 in Lehigh Valley. It’s Belleville’s first shutout of the season.
The game was scoreless until 8:40 of the second period when defenceman Zac Leslie scored his second of the year.
Belleville’s defence played a prominent role in the offence scoring 3 goals and 4 assists. Rookie blueliner Max Guenette along with forwards Roby Jarventie and Andrew Agozzino had a goal and assist each.

The win moves Belleville to the .500 mark with 18 wins and 18 loss at the mid way point of their schedule.
