Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reports the number of people in QHC hospitals due to COVID-19 increased slightly over the weekend.
On Monday, Public Health reported 10 people in hospital with two in the intensive care unit.
That’s up from seven in hospital and no one in ICU on Friday.
There were 108 new high-risk cases reported Monday but the number of active cases is down to 311 from Friday’s 331.
There are 12 ongoing outbreaks in high-risk settings.
Eighty-eight percent of local residents aged five and over have received a first dose of a COVID vaccine.
Two doses have been delivered to 81% of the population while 51% of eligible residents have received a third dose booster.
On Monday Ontario reported 2,155 people in hospital with COVID-19 and 486 people in ICU.
There were 2,088 new high risk COVID-19 cases reported across the province Monday.
