Central Hastings OPP have arrested and charged two men from Belleville after a home invasion and break-in at a home in Tweed early last month.
OPP report that on January 5 a homeowner called for help after noticing some household items missing.
OPP were called but suspects had fled the scene before officer’s arrival.
Investigation led to the arrests of 51-year-old Richard MacDonald and 53-year-old Roger Elliott.
Both were charged with robbery with violence, break and enter, forcible entry, and theft under $5,000.
