Belleville’s warming centre has been a very busy spot.
A report going to Hastings County’s Community and Human Services Committee next week shows that 856 visitors have used the centre located at Bridge Street United Church.
To near the end of January the centre had been open for 19 nights and recently an average of 67 visited the centre while an average of 45 stayed all night long.
Meanwhile the City of Quinte West’s warming centre has had 107 visits over 25 nights, averaging around four visitors a night.
