After a successful inaugural year, rental fees for pop-up vendors in Quinte West’s Centennial Park could increase
this coming season.
Pop-up vendors were charged what was considered a nominal $500 fee for the season last year and
the council’s Corporate Finance Committee is recommending an increase to $800 for this year.
Transient vendors would be charged $200 for a two-week stay.
Last season there were five seasonal vendors and six transient vendors at Centennial Park.
Meanwhile, there’ll be a test run for pop-ups at Frankford’s Tourist Park this year. Vendors would be charged $500 for the season.
