On February 1, 2022 at 4:30 p.m., Belleville police attended in the area of MacDonald Avenue regarding a domestic assault.
They were informed by the caller that a male and female were physically fighting on the street.
Police located the male and female and investigated the incident.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested a 27-year old Belleville female for assault and uttering threats.
She was transported to the Belleville Police Service where she was later released with a court date of February 28, 2022.
The name of the female is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
