Grab your spoon – a popular downtown Belleville event is making its return in 2022.
After being cancelled due to the pandemic in 2021, Savour the Chill is back for its 18th year.
This year’s soup tasting contest will be held Saturday February 26 and will see downtown restaurants compete for both the Judge’s and the People’s Choice Awards.
On the same day, the City of Belleville is hosting its Winter Family Funfest.
Several Downtown District retailers will also be offering weekend specials.
In an effort to reduce waste, everyone is encouraged to bring their own spoon.
Participating restaurants include Bourbon Street Pizza, Burger Revolution, Capers, Chilangos, Dinkel’s, Export Grill, Gourmet Diem, Jim’s, The Lark, Quinte Corner, The Smokin’ 116 and Sans-Souci.
COVID-19 mandates will be in effect.
