Belleville Bearcats graduate Cassidy Vinkle played in the Premiere Hockey Federation All Star Showcase held in Buffalo over the weekend.
Vinkle is a graduate of St. Theresa Secondary School in Belleville and currently plays for the Buffalo Beauts of the PHF where she was the top vote getter for the all star game.
Vinkle had two assists in her two games in the three team three-on-three round robin.
The 24-year-old Vinkle is in her first season with Buffalo after four successful years at Clarkson University in Potsdam New York where she won two NCAA championships.
Vinkle captained the Golden Knights in her last season before attending New England College to complete her Master’s Degree in Strategic Business. She was also the Assistant Coach for the women’s hockey team.
