There was a kidnapping of sorts late Thursday night in Belleville.
City police report being called about a 44-year-old woman being taken into a vehicle against her wishes around 11 o’clock.
Officers quickly located the vehicle on Roblin Road and were advised that the victim was involved in a disagreement over a debt.
Police searched the vehicle and found cocaine, methamphetamine, and other drugs.
A 32-year-old woman from Belleville was charged as was a 28-year-old woman from Quinte West.
Both were on probation and both appear for a bail hearing today. No one was injured.
