Lennox & Addington OPP are investigating numerous reports of stolen catalytic converters.
The thefts occurred between January 17 and 26 from vehicles parked at businesses in Greater Napanee.
Detectives are asking anyone with exterior video or photographic footage taken between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. on January 20, in the area of Richmond Park Drive and Bridge Street West to review their cameras for any suspicious activity.
OPP say you can lower the risk of becoming victim to one of these crimes by:
- Always parking your vehicle in a well-lit area
- Leaving exterior lighting on your house at night
- Parking your vehicle in a garage, if you have one
- Reviewing notifications from home security camera systems and looking for any suspicious activity
- Always locking your vehicle and ensuring that the security system is active, if equipped
