The cold temperatures and blowing snow did not stop thousands of people from lining the 401, and overpasses for the Freedom Convoy, which rolled through the Quinte region Thursday afternoon.
The southern convoy was one of three convoys on their way to Ottawa to protest mandates by the government. The convoy has caused a heated debate with local residents falling on both sides of the mandate issue.
