One more vote and Brighton council will have its 2022 budget officially ready to go.
Monday, Brighton council’s Committee of the Whole recommended council approve a budget that
would see a tax levy increase of 2.4% which would cost a homeowner about $120 more a year on a house valued at $400,000.
As far as major capital investments are concerned, the budget would see more spending on economic development, a new roof on the health centre, and roadwork on Addison and Napoleon Streets.
