Proposed survey questions surrounding the Route 9 bus for Thurlow ward will be in front of Belleville council Monday.
The revised questions include one asking a resident to specify if they’re property taxpayers in the “Cannifton Urban or Cannifton Rural” tax billing areas.
The second question, if you answer yes to the first, asks how you’d feel about paying $210 in property taxes annually based on a house worth $300,000 to pay for the bus service.
The last question is open for comments.
The staff report suggests putting it online instead of mailing it out with the interim tax bill as originally suggested due to time constraints.
