Belleville city council approved some significant vehicle purchases at its meeting Monday.
Council approved a staff recommendation to buy a new Tandem Plow Truck for a total of $404,438, HST included.
Also, city staff were able to get good pricing on new mobility buses for Belleville Transit so were able to buy three new buses for almost the same price as the two originally budgeted for.
Council had budgeted $632,000 for two buses but were able to buy three for $690,000.
The buses will replace three existing ones.
