With freezing temperatures Friday and more cold weather in store for the weekend the City of Belleville has extended its activation of the warming centre through the weekend.
The warming centre is located at Bridge Street United Church at 60 Bridge St. E.
It will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The facility is overseen by Hastings County staff and full COVID-19 safety protocols are in effect including social distancing, masking and screening before entry.
