Statistics show a very uneven pattern when it comes to the number of riders using the much talked about Route 9 bus serving Thurlow in the built-up area north of Highway 401.
Belleville Transit started Route 9 as a pilot project last September and the route ended that month with 1,225 riders.
However, in October ridership jumped to just over 2,100 and then dropped again in November to a little over 1,500.
But in December, the time city council discussed a survey on transit for Thurlow residents, the number of riders increased dramatically to close to 2,800.
Monday council is expected to decide on the target audience and exact wording of the questions for the online survey.
