Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold weather warning for the Bay of Quinte.
Very cold wind chill values will develop tonight into Saturday morning.
After temperatures rapidly fall through the day today, wind chill values near minus 30 are forecast to develop overnight.
A reprieve from extreme cold conditions is expected to begin Saturday morning.Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.
