The demand for services offered by the Belleville Salvation Army continues to grow and the community has stepped up once again to support this vital organization.
Director of Community and Family Services Connie Goodsell tells Quinte News, they managed to raise $290,500 during this year’s Kettle Campaign.
Goodsell says they are so amazed and blessed that people still make the time to give, even with COVID affecting this year’s campaign once again.
She noted the demand is continuing to grow, with the Salvation Army providing 130 warm meals a night and more people accessing the food bank almost daily.
