Four more people have tested positive for COVID-19 at Northumberland County’s long term care home, the Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg.
Recent whole-home testing found that three more staff members and one resident were infected.
Earlier on Boxing Day two staff members tested positive and public health declared an outbreak at the facility.
All staff are self-isolating and the resident is in a designated isolation place within the Lodge.
Testing continues.
