The weather wasn’t perfect but despite that the Belleville Police Service’s Cram-a-Cruiser event at Marc’s No Frills last Friday was a big success.
Almost 1,500 kilograms of food was donated which was the second highest total yet in the annual event.
Also, officers collected just over $1,400 cash.
All the food and money was donated to Gleaner’s Food Bank.
