The Lindsay Muskies scored twice in the final minute of the third period, including an empty netter, to pull out a 6-4 victory over the Golden Hawks in Trenton.
G-Hawks leading scorer Dalton Bancroft had a hat trick and an assist to raise his total to 52 points including 14 goals.
Jake Campbell scored a goal and two assists.
Trenton is now on its holiday break and won’t play again until January 2nd.
The Wellington Dukes will start their Christmas break one day earlier than planned as tonight’s home game with the Caladon Admirals has been postponed due to COVID concerns.
Wellington’s next scheduled game in Thursday January 6th.
