Damages are estimated at $300,000 following a blaze in Prince Edward County on Monday.
The fire, which is still under investigation, destroyed a house near Outlet beach early this morning.
Crews were called out to a small house at 2102 County Road 18 at the intersection with County Road 11 at around 6:15 a.m.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.
The fire was declared under control just before 7 o’clock.
