On the December 16, 2021 at 5:45 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Dundas Street East and Newberry Street for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
While conducting their investigation, police observed the passenger in the motor vehicle, 33-year-old Kristine Wendling from the Belleville area, was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Wendling was arrested on the strength of the warrant for breach of probation and transported to the Belleville Police Service.
She was held for a bail hearing on December 17.
