A staff member of the Trenton Golden Hawks has tested positive for COVID-19 and as a result, the local Public Health Unit (PHU) has recommended that the team postpone their immediate games.
Although the PHU has not officially directed the club to postpone games, the OJHL will be complying with the recommendation.
The OJHL has posted the following games:
December 15, 2021 – Toronto Junior Canadiens v Trenton Golden Hawks
December 17, 2021 – Mississauga Chargers v Trenton Golden Hawks
All Golden Hawks players and staff have been monitoring for COVID-19 symptoms and are in the process of finalizing two rapid COVID-19 tests.
To date there have been no symptoms or positive rapid test reported within the team.
