Local public high schools will continue with the quadmester system in February.
Director of Education Katherine MacIver issued a letter to families Tuesday.
She says Public Health has advised them to continue the two-class-per-day system from February to June instead of returning to the regular semester system.
And though many students have asked to resume the use of lockers, they will remain off limits at the request of Public Health in an effort to reduce student contact.
